Who uses Kratom to aid in recovery and/or for pain control?
I have been using the Kratom leaf as a powder, to aid in recovery from hard workouts for about two years. It helps give me energy in the morning without the use of stimulants, and I also use it right before I work out. In the evening it helps with stress and I also sleep very well. Does anyone else use it for this purpose?

How often and in what dose do you use it?
Had never heard of it and so had to Google. This was from more than two years ago:
Like "bath salts" and "spice" — drugs that are now illegal but were legal and trendy until law enforcers and medical researchers gathered data on their dangers — kratom is under scrutiny, having been added to a Drug Enforcement Administration's list of "drugs and chemicals of concern."
If the DEA concludes that kratom poses a public health risk, the agency can request that the Department of Health and Human Services place it on a schedule of banned and controlled substances.

It is legal and is not a drug that f's you up..It is very similar to coffee in that it perks you up in the morning and gives you a feeling of well being. Small doses produce energy while higher amounts produce a state of relaxation. It is not a rec drug and if you consume too much, you will get a stomach ache and nothing more.
