I hope he is able to pull through this battle. He's turned his life around recently and seems like a changed man.

A lot of people in the limelight are slowly being sent to the hospital or worse. i guess a lot of us are at the age now where most of the famous people of our childhood are slowly going away. Hope Jake pulls through.

Hope he pulls out of it. Haven't checked anything in about a year. The last time I looked he seemed to be doing well with DDP supporting and helping him recover.

Jake Roberts update on his health and goal of wrestling for WWE again
SB Nation
It's been a hectic couple of weeks for WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake Roberts". Yesterday though, he was on Twitter and in good spirits, talking about his recovery from pneumonia and a collapse brought on by the illness, as well as from a lifetime of addiction and other issues that had left him estranged from family and loved ones.
And news was positive on all fronts:
227lbs. All the way from 308lbs how sweet is that? Granted pneumonia not a good way to achieve but I'm still taking it. — JakeSnakeDDT (@JakeSnakeDDT) September 15, 2014
Unbielevable weekend having two of my daughters taking care of me. Also took some time to scratch the past and try to soothe the wounds. — JakeSnakeDDT (@JakeSnakeDDT) September 15, 2014
Prior to his latest round of cancer and the aforementioned health scares, Jake had been pretty vocal about believing he could still offer something in the right spot as a wrestler for WWE. In the past, he's campaigned for a Royal Rumble spot, and briefly appeared at January's "Old School" Raw for a segment with The Shield.
Now, it sounds like the events of the past couple of weeks have disavowed him of that notion:
Don't think I can ever get back n ring. I have came a long ways n last two years and know how hard it is to get ready and how easy to lose — JakeSnakeDDT (@JakeSnakeDDT) September 15, 2014
My heart screams hell yes. The health issues big concern. The fear of doing anything that would cost me the chance to play w grandchdren!!! — JakeSnakeDDT (@JakeSnakeDDT) September 15, 2014
Sounds like Roberts' has his priorities in order. The entire cSs family continues to wish him the best, and we look forward to seeing him, in a non-wrestling capacity, again soon!

Thanks for the update. Wrestling is not like Bodybuilding, you can't do it forever....Although some have tried.
Hogan in training to get back in the ring?Gone but not forgotten, I remember you too Dookie!

Not sure, I know wwe wants him to be more active. But I'm assuming he's staying in shape because he's in front of a huge audience now.. But I don't think he can move anymore. He might be able to throw a punch, the big boot, and follow up with a slow leg drop. Hogan claims his back problems to all the leg drops over the years.
