Let's not forget Shawn Ray was this ___ close to being Mr. Olympia a couple of times. I don't think he'd give up 2nd place and the 2nd place cheque to be 1st in the 202 or 212. But Lee Priest was jaded enough to drop down and all the other guys (not including Ray) would have dropped out of the open as well if another division was available.

If he didn't think they'd ever let him move into the top 5 (he got 6th three times at the Olympia). He was jaded enough to get banned, so he could have harnessed that energy and dominated the smaller division ... if it existed.

I also forgot about Lee Labrada.
Ray, Labrada and Priest could all beat Flex Lewis in an all-time 212 show. That's my top 4 in order if every 212-and-under guy in history was judged on a modern stage with modern judges.

I have an astigmatism and I wear bifocals, sooooo maybe that's why I never saw his legs lacking nor Jay Cutler's one quad being horribly smaller. I was always, "What? Not seeing it."

Mohamed Makkawy has to be in the conversation if Danny's included. Padilla is legend, but he's not the only OG star.

Might as well add Mohammed Benaziza to the conversation at this point (especially with the win over Yates before his untimely death). Thinking Padilla is rightfully in the conversation as well.

Lee Priest would need to improve his lower back a lot (and dry it out / lose fat) to contend with Flex in shots like this one. Not to mention the hams and glutes. I've argued for Lee in the past (as a fan), but this is the reality (as a judge).

I hope Ashkanani enjoys second place.

I made a similar comment a while back until I saw pics from Lee's comeback at the 2013 Universe. His hams, glutes and lower back were dialed in much better than the old days.
