Ray Rice was released today after the video of him knocking his then fiancée out cold with a punch in the elevator.

Why release him now? He punched/slapped a hood rat . What did the ravens think he did when they suspended him for 2 games a month ago? Bumped heads? Tripped over one another?? Question I have is ; would the ravens have released him if he was still in his prime??? IMO I say no .

You bring up a good point about why does a video of what we knew he did make it any worse, but as far as I am concerned, this wife/fiancee-beating, cowardly piece of shit can fuck off for good.

I have no feeling towards ray rice. Could care less about him. I just find it weird that he's cut now, but cowboys get to bring back a lineman that killed someone in a drunk driving incident. It took longer for the patriots to cut Aaron Hernandez for murder than it took the ravens cutting rice for slapping his drunk wife .

I think it's more like he got released because the public can now watch exactly what he did. The NFL did their investigation,they watched the tape and knew what he did. They didn't expect the tape to be made public though.

Although I don't know whether that is how it played out, yeah, I agree with that assessment 100%.

He would have to apply to get back into the NFL. Then wait out his suspension, and see who calls. And I'm not sure if correct on this, but to make it into the Canadian football league he can't be on suspension with the NFL. That's a CFL rule.

Today was the first time I watched the vid......he is lucky he did not kill her the way her head hit that railing.

Do you think she married him for a pay off after this blows over? Looks like it might not blow over, at least for his career?
