RX Rising Muscle: Sergio Oliva Jr.
Coming from one of the best gene pools that ever existed in bodybuilding, it’s almost impossible to think the son of the Great Sergio “The Myth” Oliva would not be tempted to try his own wings in the sport. This is, of course, what our next athlete in Rx Rising Muscle has done. Sergio Oliva Jr. is on a mission – walking in his father’s footsteps – to become a professional bodybuilder himself one day. He works hard and is very dedicated to reaching his dreams.

Interesting, he has added a ton of size since last I saw him; very reminiscent of his father's build. He does his father's signature pose supreme justice.
Genetics indeed

Did add a ton of muscle. Shame he doesn't have his fathers waist.

WHY does none of this surprise me? I just hope he can take it all the way, like his dad did. Some consider Oliva the uncrowned Mr. O winner of 1972 in Essen. However, I would not want to have been one of the judges & had to decide between them.

Well, he added what was missing before.
If he brings those biceps out more the resemblance will be scary.

This is true. He definitely did not get to that size easily and it has taken years....actually longer than I expected because his dad was bigger by that age.
One difference is the level of conditioning between now and then. I always think it is easier to gain size when not constantly trying to keep the lowest body fat percentage.
People see what they want though...and very rarely do they acknowledge all of the hard work it takes to get really big. They assume it was just easier for this guy over someone else...and not that he worked any harder.Last edited by Professor X; 09-11-2014 at 05:18 PM.
