In the Arab countries you have a higher ratio of people going into bodybuilding trying to emulate guys like Bannout ,Benaziza ,Makkawy, Nasser, Ramy , Sammi Al Haddad and dont forget,those countries governments invest heavily in bodybuilding ,and strength sports(which are linked) so you will have a higher percentage of the populations getting into bodybulding with a view to making a living out of it. Obviously ,with more of the general population participating ,especially with good financial prospects,there is a greater chance of gifted athletes coming through. If bodybuilding in the UK for example was the No 2 sport,you would see a couple of hundred first class physiques coming out of here.
