Anyone else sick of ESPN or other similar stations???
Just went to their mobile site and all espn is now is TMZ of the sports world. We are in prime time football season but you would have zero clue.. All those networks just wanna talk about garbage. Ray rice gets more coverage on Fox News and cnn than IsIS right now.. Makes me embarrassed to try to follow sports.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. Even Mike and Mike spend too much time on this crap.
Report it once, then move on to the important stuff!CutlerAthletics.com

The same happens with the news
- Major thing happens, then run it to the ground
- Major thing happens in sports (Michael Sam for instance, Lance Armstrong and his steroid use etc...)
Welcome to the modern world. it is not just sports its any story that can stir a lot of drama or attention. Just like 1 hit wonders in the music industry. They are a hit, they make a scene, and they are gone sooner or later.2013 & 2014 RX Member of the Year

Yeah i don't really watch espn anymore....most of their radio is terrible, mike and mike are jokes...most of it is just annoying, you could literally watch espn from like 5pm til 8pm and even though it's different shows, everyone is saying the same exact thing, same thing with their radio
however dan lebetard is amazing and his radio show is great, it's not the same crap everyone else is talking about, it's funny, it takes outside views, and overall entertaining

Other than the Herd, I hardly listen to ESPN during the day.

ESPN is on in the locker room everyday when I get to the gym. It's a race to see how fast I can get my headphones on and crank my music. I'm sick of talking heads repeating the same news over and over every 45 minutes.
The best local sports talk radio station went to the dogs a few years ago during the last presidential election when the show hosts decided they couldn't restrain themselves anymore and had to vomit their political bile on their captive audience.Last edited by crunchy; 09-12-2014 at 12:55 PM.

I would have much preferred a station breaking down BYU vs Houston for 4 hours than listen to ray rice (actually NFL/ravens) garbage.

Same thing with NFL network. I turned it on an hour before the game yesterday and 90% of what was being discussed was...you know what it was. There was a little talk about the teams about to play a Thursday night game but not much.
