I dont see Kai in the wrong here. As soon as Phil said he is dedicating this win he opened the doors to a backlash. He tried being sneaky by covering it up by speaking about his father but he knew what he said.

Except he didn't say that. He said he would be bringing one home for him. If I was Mr. O and my father was dying I, and everyone else, would have said the same thing. Trying to fault Phil for that is dumb. Now, I will say that Phil going back to the whole life struggle thing like he did last year was annoying. But, he wasn't wrong, Kai was. Kai has clearly made this personal and he just looks like a bitter loser to me. He says "talk is cheap" when that's all he's done; Phil's won the Sandows. He goes on and on about the past, seriously how many fucking times did he say the word, as if it has no merit on the future lol - It's true that Phil's previous Sandows don't guarantee him a 4th, but there's a reason he's won 3 of them ... moreover, he's won all 3 with Kai competing in each one.

And George getting in that snippet about Phil retiring, what a fucking joke. That piece of shit lied about being a police officer and getting shot in the line of duty among many other despicable things. He was a 3rd Tier pro and wants to talk shit while hiding behind Kai. No surprise that he's still a coward.

Hilarity when Bob asked Dennis if he knew what the hell Kai just said and Dennis shrugs with a slightly irritated look on his face, "No idea." Kai seemed to try to be saving some face by going into one if his faux philosophical ramblings about self development and ambition goal setting blah blah blah ... It's so painfully obvious that he's trying to sound more intelligent than he is.

Agree with this! Im both a Kai and Phil fan, but in this case I don't see Kai in the wrong at all. I actually liked the aggressiveness that was coming out of Kai in this press conference. You can tell he wants this win Bad!

Curto, I thought the exact same thing as I was drifting off to sleep last night; it was too will executed and Bob did not seem genuinely surprised when Phil shot back. It got me wondering how much was real and how much was engineered.

Yes i'm glad you noticed that. People say Kai was being disrespectful when Phil was talking about bringing one home for his dad that has passed away. two points her: 1. bringing one home was Phil referring to 2014 sandow meaning the rest of them should go home or fight for the other spots cos he has the number 1 spot. 2. people that don't understand the meaning of 'birth and death' would talk about disrespecting the dead. is Phil going to put the sandow in his father's coffin or grave? Kai was on point with his view saying Phil should have dedicated the last 3 to his dad. Nothing is guaranteed, Ronnie came in hoping to win his 9th sandow but it didn't happen, if everyone had stayed home or didn't come in at their best thinking that Ronnie is unbeatable we know what would have happened. Moral of the story is, its a fight to the finish, the champion emerges at the end. Until then its a clean slate and everyone is a champion.
