Great job Christian, thank you for the coverage. And well-deserved for JM. What people don't realize she is not that big, but her detail and muscle insertions give her the appearance (without a comparison of others) of size. That is not only amazing genetics but also attention to detail on training each area. Her waist to shoulder differential also creates an illusion of size. She is a very tiny woman and the judges awarded her for her efforts to fit in this year. Congrats to all the athletes...

Dlb
The TKO has been served. Juliana could possibly dominate for years to come with that look.
Competitions should be held and decided on stage. It's great that an athlete promotes the sport in positive way, but what happens the day of the event should determine the outcome.
I do understand the cache that someone like DLB brings via her being out there and giving to her fans and others getting into the sport. That should not go without acknowledgement.Last edited by Mandla; 09-21-2014 at 01:20 PM.

I'd have no problem with Malacarne being awarded the top spot in every show if she arrives on stage in top shape. She's an amazing combination of beauty, muscularity, and grace.
DLB's physique is fantastic, though, too. And she definitely brought it to Vegas. Her social media skill (their social media prowess) seems to overshadow the fact that she has an incredible body as well as body of Facebook and Instagram fans.
It might happen.
But I'd have no problem with the winners being on some kind of rotation, too.
Though I can see Malacarne having a string of Olympias, there's no need with so many competitors who look incredible. It's a coin toss, isn't it? Every competitor has their fans and each athlete certainly deserves the recognition for their efforts.
Juliana Malacarne, Dana Linn Bailey, Tycie Coppett, Karina Nascimento, Sabrina Taylor... each competitor could have been awarded the top spot without much dissension is my guess. If the judges really have zero clue then it's all the better for the fans and the competitors, right?Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

I wouldn't say better for competitors . It would be very frustrating and demoralizing to not understand why one year your a loser but the next year your the best. Karina was so distraught after her confusing 2013 placing that she contemplated quitting the sport. And I'm gonna assume that wasn't a good feeling for her.

Where are the Rxmuscle contest pictures for the Olympia weekend? Can't find them, other sites have theirs up already.

Jill I agree.
WPD and men's 212 divisions are probably the most exciting for me these days.CutlerAthletics.com

Dave stated on the most recent Heavy Muscle Radio that Robin Chang pulled his press pass. He also said that the 50th Olympia was an amazing production.
