Kai showed up at gym I was training at this morning.
photo (1).jpg It was pretty cool to see him train a little.
I wish I was a little bit taller. I wish I was a baller.

Shouldn't he be drying-out and carbing-up? Training the day of pre-judging seems like a dumb idea. Looks like he hopes his lacking traps will suddenly pop out.

He must used very light weight, very little volume => It won't create too bad of an inflammation, and likeliness of the body to hold water as a result of the training.
In fact he do that, just to force the body when he's carving up to put da carbs inside the desired muscle group he works that day. Hope He will be in fantastic condition !
It's our interest to see a real battle for the title. Not that the show would be boring, but you know a little bit of excitement

No what I meant is : He is training so that the trained muscle act as a sponge, and store the carbs with water, he will eat. And that's the stimulus he is looking for. Especially if you see the little weight he is using, and I guess the low volume he is likely to use. He will eat more carbs than he will use as energy. He won't store fat, but he will store glycogen instead.

Some Olympians have a different game plan though. And do not touch any weight the day or two (maybe more day) prior to competition. It's all depend on their current conditioning and the formula (the logic behind their act) that they will use to elicit the results they are looking for
