In before the riots on DLB taking 2nd. IMO Juliana deserved it from some of the poses. she just had the complete package.

I really, really like DLB but Juliana is just in a league of her own! It was already obvious last year, but the judges just weren't clear on the future of women's physique.

I can't knock any of the competitors for their physique's at all, only how it's presented.

I agree , ifbb has turned that division into a male figure show.. I'm embarrassed by it. I do not have a thing negative to say about the guys as individuals. But I find the whole stage acts laughable. When ifbb states they make so much money on that division, I counter them with , but you make zero money on them when the Olympia comes around. Zero. No one is lining up to chat it up with jason postin. Longer lines would form for jason Genova. And I'll bet anything on that.

Men's physique was just a way to get more $ coming in from every guys who wants to be a bodybuilder but either can't, or isn't willing to put in the extra "work". It's more of an everyman kind of thing. I'm not knocking their physiques, but you can't tell me that when a MPD guy says he's an "IFBB Pro" that a little voice inside your head that grew up loving the giants on the Olympia stage doesn't want to scream "yeah, but in Physique!"

Juliana should have won last year. We may like DLB as a personality, but I don't know a single person who actually follows the sport with any degree of seriousness who thought she deserved the top spot last year. She brings followers to the telecast, but that's it. If that's more important to the powers that be, then whatever. I would imagine that they heard some rumblings after last year's women's physique placings.

The judging was very good in these two division. Juliana is WP. It is about time Mark Anthony placed where he belonged. Sadik, Jason and Jeremy were always better than Mark IMO.

Some more thoughts on WPD Olympia.

OVERALL
I'm tickled pink that Juliana won. She should had won it last year. But, I give DLB a lot of credit. Last year, she didn't try to explain or justify the decision of her being champ. She just took the trophy and went with the flow. This year, she didn't act jaded that she lost the crown and took it all graciously. Juliana rules, but lots of respect for Dana. I guess WPD needed a rivalry. DLB V. Juliana should be an awesome head to head showdown.

GLAD THAT
Tycie Coppett, Jillian Reville, Frances Mendez, Karin Hobbs, Jackyn Abrams and Heather Grace placed. They all have great bodies and should continue to compete in future Olympias If for some reason, Sara Hurrle enjoys motherhood too much and never returns to the stage. Let's hope Heather Grace takes over the throne as Colorado's First Lady Of WP.

NEW FAVORITE
I've gained new respect of Mindi O'Brien. I've heard her name for years, when she was one of the top ladies in Fitness. But, never really paid her no mind. However, since she has become a WP champion. She has been impressive. Her body is extraordinary. She should have been top five(IMO).

SURPRISES
Karina Nascimento placing 4th. In a year where she didn't win a contest. Maybe this was a consolation for the bad placing she received last year. Toni West not even placing, after finishing fourth last year. Samantha Hill didn't placed. But, Patricia Mello, who didn't look in shape, and La'Drissa Bonivel did. Samantha looked very good and more complete than the Mello and Bonivel. Samantha Hill is very good.
