This video is from May of 2012 when IFBB Professional Figure competitor Juliana Malacarne gave her career "ONE LAST SHOT" in the new Women's Physique Division before retiring from the sport after 6 straight years (and 12 shows) of failure and disappointment. Despite great trials in her personal life with her mom having a stroke in Brazil when Juliana was just 5 weeks out from this show (the 2012 NY Pro) and she had to jump on a plane and fly to Brazil to be by her mom's bedside in the hospital.

At this moment, now in her late 30s after failing for 6 years straight as a pro, she was ready to move on to other things in life thinking her dreams just weren't meant to be. Instead of giving up however a friend convinced her to "stay on the diet, and stick it out and do the show anyway" and after some soul searching she did just that. This video was shot upon her return to New York. Two weeks later she WON her first Pro show in her 13th attempt! Juliana is now the reigning MS. OLYMPIA...Never Give Up On Your Dreams...we never know what life has in store for us
