Getting in the "zone"
You know those workouts where you feel like beast after every set, where you can just keep pushing the weights without feeling very fatigued. That focus you get where you you feel like every rep is making a difference, so you keep on pushing. We have all had workouts like that, and always try to make each workout like that, but sometimes it just is not there.
Some like to blast music (myself) to keep them pumping hard, or even use a pre-workout drink to bring up their alertness and energy so they can hit it hard. But what pushes you to get in the workout "zone"? We all feel the difference between a "great" and "ok" workout, and I think being in the "zone" (as most people call it) makes the difference. To the point of when you are not in it you feel like the workout was just not good at all.
So what are somethings you do or even think pre or intra workout that gets you in the "zone"?

a good preworkout with the right ingredients can really help make someone energized and focused on the task at hand, nootropics are great for this
diet plays a big role i find as well, proper nutrition pre and intra could also play a key factor on if the workout is good or not, i've been using some oats pre workout where all summer i never used carbs much preworkout...i've been having some really solid workouts over the last two months when i'm not sick
i always need headphones in as well. i can't listen to rock n roll or guitar music when i workout, i need rap music to really feel good and smooth when lifting
