Red Bull Sued for 13$ Million

If you bought at least one Red Bull between January 1, 2002 and October 3, 2014, the company owes you a $10 check or $15 worth of free Red Bull Products. It’s all due to a $13 million lawsuit the beverage company has decided to settle with Benjamin Careathers.

Careathers, a Red Bull drinker, claims that the drink maker misled him and other consumers with its slogan “Red Bull gives you wings.” He says the company advertised some of the benefits of drinking Red Bull include increased performance, concentration and reaction speed. Of course, none of this was ever proven or backed up by scientific evidence.

It reminds me of that Vibrams Five Finger issue where they were reprimanded for saying it strengthened feet muscles.

I wear Vibrams. They strengthened my feet. I don't need shoe inserts anymore just to walk. I guess I was fooled by placebo. I should sue.

the hell with that, the guy next to me in my office went on disability and since he's come back he slams 4 16oz red bulls a day...the guy went from a normal worker to an over zelous (sp) employee who doesn't stop talking

I drank it once just to see how it tastes again but I always read the back of containers before purchasing one and I always told everybody that red bull sucked compared to monster because it has low caffeine calorie but people love that shit for some reason.

My wife loves Red Bulls, My son drinks Monster. I told her that if she was drinking them for "energy" to switch to Monster cause they have more caffeine. She refuses cause she loves the taste. I think they taste worse than a bad protein shake.

BTW, I buy the Monsters for my son and I noticed some of their products have more caffeine than others.

I get the suger free monster which is a little better for you I guess lol and I think it tastes good. But I only drink energy drinks on my work days due to getting up at 330am.

My ex did the same. It didn't make sense to me. If you want energy drink something with more stims in it. Fuck the taste. If you want a fast car you're not going to buy a fucking civic because I like how it handles, will you? No. You'll buy a light car with a lot of HP.

I don't know if I sometimes over thinking things in life or people are just being unreasonable.
