Charles Atlas' "Dynamic Tension" methods
I'm sure many of you (especially those over 40) have seen adds like this:
Does anyone know what exactly his "Dynamic Tension" consisted of? Was it merely another way of saying strength or resistance training?
Has anyone ever ordered his product(s)? Again you may be aging yourself if you answer the question, since this was waaay before internet, and I don't recall seeing his books in stores.
Does anyone have a copy of his book(s) that he was selling here?

His chest workout could be pressing one hand against the other while flexing under tension.
I think it works...if you have goals of looking like Atlas did in those comics...

I loved reading Atlas's explanation about how he watched the lions's at the zoo and hiow they supposedly developed their strength. -lol Great marketing.
Some good stuff about him in some of the history of bodybuilding books that are around if anyone's interested.
