    Default If you were extremely busy and could barely get a workout in...

    So lately I've been extremely busy and I have not been able to constantly go to the gym for few weeks. If I am lucky I'll get maybe 1-2 workouts in per week. I still do my cardio and keep my diet but won't be able to hit the weight for probably another 4 weeks.

    So I know a lot of you guys on here are busy and have were tight schedules. If you could only get into the gym for 1, maybe 2x a week in the gym...what would be your workout routine?

    Mostly compound movements. Workout A and workout B.

    A: Bench, rows, pulldowns
    B: Squats, leg curls, presses

    I work six days each week. Three jobs. Something like 60-65 hours. Still get to the gym four or five times per week. How busy are you?

    Otoh, the weights I use don't really constitute a workout for many.

    (kicks pink dumbbells out of view)

    Hope the workload gets more manageable!

    at the end of my cut i was really busy and was having a hard time getting to the gym, so what i did was a bunch of movements using multiple muscle groups in a superset fashion so for example

    push up with a dumbbell into a one armed row until failure supersetted into 20 seconds of battle ropes
    pullups supersetted with dips...don't worry about the extra weights, just do bodyweight

    Squat / Bench / Deadlift
    5x5 pyramid or something very short dealing with the big 3.

    How about 10 to 15 minute workouts a few times a week?

    I had a guy tell me before he could only workout 15 to 20 minutes a day so he didn't because it wouldn't be worth going. I told him "6 months from now you will have 6 months of short workouts......or 6 months of no workouts, which is better?". He said he had never even thought of it in that way.

    german volume training didn't take me long either, the rest periods are so short that you still might be able to throw some extra work in here or there

    I'm going to this for this exam. I would be at work from 7:30 to 4 and then studying at work from 4 to 10 or 11. But this time I'll try to go for at least 30 minutes a day. I mean it has to be very short breaks and back to back but still better than nothing.

    This past 3 days I went and worked out and holy fuck my body loaths me right now. Every is sore and aches.
