Article: Why low carb diets and cutting sodium is dangerous to your health
WHY LOW CARB DIETS AND CUTTING SODIUM IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH
In this short article I am going to share with you what I have learned about low carb diets and sodium depletion and why they are both dangerous to your health. Just not having enough sodium in your diet is dangerous to your health; it doesn't have to necessarily be a depletion. In all of my articles I do not clam to "know it all" but I do speak a lot from personal experience, research, and also from other competitors that have contacted me to share their stories as well. I have also attached some example meal plans in this article of what NOT TO FOLLOW for any reason or duration of time. These are examples of DANGEROUS meal plans. I personally do not believe in any crazy diet methods… just plain whole balanced nutrition with the proper balance of micro-nutrients or "macros", your carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats.

I just want to add that ketones and L-Glutamine can both cross the blood brain barrier to feed the brain energy. I frequently get neuroglycopenic hypoglycemia (low brain sugar) when I'm not on a ketogenic diet because of a hereditary insulin condition that leaves me hypersensitive to insulin's effects (low blood sugar, all the time). So I'm very familiar with low brain energy, and I have found it to be much better to grab L-Glutamine then a candy to correct low brain blood sugar. You can get L-Glutamine in a chew 'candy' or powder to mix in a drink for fast acting improvement on low brain blood sugar.
Thanks for the article!

I'm following a keto meal plan, haven't read the article, but did take a scoop of GNC's one glutamine powder today with my whey isolate. Purchased the glutamine after seeing a video of Cutler recommending the product, but have read mixed reports on the supplement's worth. Thanks for your post.
