Perhaps they are casting their vote by not signing. I will likely not sign because I feel women's physique represents what I prefer to see. Women's BBing is dying at all levels.

Fitness isn't. The Fitness competitors took upon ourselves (Yup, I am a Pro FITNESS competitor) to get sponsors last year.

I cannot speak to the popularity of Fitness seeing how it too is dying, but I sure know that spectators truly enjoy watching the routines when there is a show that includes Fitness.

That is true. Fitness adds excitement amidst the multitude of quarters turns by the Figure competitors. Not hating on Figure, just simply saying that Fitness routines adds excitement.

We're not about knocking other divisions or the IFBB. Please sign our petition if you believe Women Bodybuilders should have a stage to compete on at the Olympia. It's about offering every division that same opportunity - it's not about which division you find more attractive or not.

1) Where is it stated by AMI/Weider the promoters of the Olympia that women's bodybuilding is cancelled?
2) Why is the petition not directed to them?

1) IFBB Schedule / Confirmed with NPC per Dave, others.
2) IFBB Sanctions the event, not AMI/Weider (they own the rights).

All promoters of sanctioned events have the right to put on or not put on the divisions they want and pay the associated sanction fees to do so if I understand correctly. There is no event without a promoter who in this case is AMI/Weider.
Petitioning the federation to put on an event at the Olympia or Arnold is akin to petitioning them to have it at a local show where the promoter then has to pay a sanction fee to do it. If that happened there would be screaming from the mountain tops their arms were being twisted and forced to pay for something they did not want. Just saying. Carry on.
