Arnold's arms and calves
guys do you really think arnolds arms were 22ins genuine, as all bodybuilders tell b.s about they'er weight and size, as the top guys now days are in the 22ins range unless your big ramy, also arnolds calves don't have the diamond shape, they seem to be rounder, anyone notice that, any opinions, the guys over 40 will prob know the answers

A run-on, illiterate shit-post, obviously borne of sheer boredom and the compelling need to start a thread for it's own sake.
Hold on while I take a measuring tape and a time machine back to Venice, circa '72, and measure them for you, numbnuts.Fill up the syringe...

You don't have to. Arthur Jones stated he taped Arnold's arm first thing in the morning when he was visiting his offices in Florida. It was reported in the one Nautilus book. Just under 20 inches, I believe?
Jones also shared a story about Frank Zane's fear of a paper tape measure Jones waved at him. No idea if those stories are true or not, but it's fair to assume that athletes through the ages have exaggerated their stats.
Fwiw, Arnold was never -- in his life, not for a second -- 6'2" as reported in many of the muscle and movie mags.

And, honestly, who cares what his measurements were? Arnold's physique was legendary.

From Nautilus Bulletin #2, Chapter 36:
The largest muscular arm that I ever measured—or saw—was Sergio Oliva's, which, accurately measured, "cold" was 20 1/8 inches. Arnold Schwarzenegger's arm was 19 7/8, slightly pumped—probably 19 1/2 "cold".Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

Arnolds size varied a lot. I would say his arms ranged from 18.5 to 21.5 depending on if he was on or off with his training and supps.

His calves are great. No Dickerson diamonds, but he certainly brought them up over the years.
Schwarzenegger was 6' to 6' 1/2" at the most. I'm 6'1" and though he's twice as broad as I am, I was taller than him in each Polaroid fan pic taken at the Arnold Classic from the first year, 1989, to 1992.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!
