HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Awesome 1/2 bodies roaming that stage!
NO.
There is NO justification for a loser getting a Pro Card.
And while all these guys look better than I do in my wildest dreams, 2nd place is LOSING.
That said, if one class is going to get the 2nd-place nod, they all should.
With all the nameless, faceless Bikini, Figure and Board Shorts competitors, there is no NEED for so many new pros every year.
Justification... Ha!
The only true "justification" is that the NPC gets so much $$$ from entry fees from dangling the extra carrots.
That one can turn Pro without having ever won ANYTHING, ever, is a damn joke.Last edited by Triple-H_2005; 11-23-2014 at 03:43 PM.

while all the competitors look better than me, except that Choi guy, I would say this was another off year.
Dominick Cardone looks good but I would say he has quite a ways to go before he will make an impact in the Pros. Congratulations to all winners none the less.
Hey Triple HHH, Did you see I said "Winners"?Gone but not forgotten, I remember you too Dookie!

These mens bbers are gonna get tore up in the pros.... The overall has a shot in a few years. Dominick has 3 or 4 years at least to get that upper body looking pro worthy

credit to dominick he is very young and has time to grow. not everyone that gets drafted into professional sports can have an immediate impact...similar here

SPECIAL THANKS for noting the high caliber of bodybuilding competitors throughout divisions Dave, Tad & Chris in the wrap-up "contrary" to the MD year after year bad mouthing the division. Yeah, yeah, everything was better twenty years ago but give the current crop of hard working guys some credit. They are expert on softness over there, but they need to step back from the wine a bit when analyzing the guys on stage.

The complaints about "today's bodybuilders" versus those from decades past is unproductive. Some diehard football fans no doubt thought the hard hitting North Dallas Forty era was better for that sport. Doing the math though how much money was there in football and other big league sports twenty years ago? Dexter & Flex among others have boys that are aiming for careers in sports with the best chance of windfall incomes rather than following in their parents footsteps and there is nothing wrong with that. From a sports entertainment standpoint it does no good to complain about the best of the best in today's market versus realizing things have changed.
As an independent producer of content my stats show there is as much opportunity to monetize my efforts focusing not only on the "bodybuilding division," but bikini, figure, men's physique, etc. Any way you shake it there is a minimum of 50% audience for these events in those categories. This is a failing of the narrow niche managers of the men's bodybuilding magazines who are increasingly pigeon holing their market by targeting as with MD on the heavies & super heavies, the national qualified men & top-10 Olympiads only and bad mouthing the reps of the current era on the whole while discounting all other divisions. They do it at their peril giving up market share and featuring a handful of athletes that they sponsor along with Weider on their cover and competing with those same athletes' sponsors for advertising dollars when those sponsors are generating their own media content with them in-house. If ever there was a flowchart or template for financial disaster this would be it.Last edited by Musclepapa John; 11-24-2014 at 10:46 AM.

18 or 19 year old First time competitor and former high school athlete Shanique Grant just started lifting and looks really good. Very good potential."Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" -Dr. David Banner
