anavar and blood pressure
Hi Folks,
My wife is considering taking anavar. She has a history of low blood pressure, and borderline anemia. Based on my experience of AAS I'm pretty sure any AAS will have a modest/dose dependent impact on blood pressure and RBC.
Any ladies with before/after blood pressure and other CBC measures off and on anavar at ~10mg/day?
Thanks

BTW, has anyone heard of anti-aging clinics who use anavar to combat post-menopausal issues of decreased RBC, bone density concerns, low blood pressure? On paper Anavar seems to have great potential application for older women, but I can't find any clinical history of that sort of application.

Given the frequency (not all but not uncommon) of tension headaches and bloody noses from Anavar, it definitely impacts your BP. I haven't seen any before & after however. Because of potential BP & cholesterol impact from var or any compound, Cholestoff is a good product, or alternatively CoQ10 (200 mg) + red yeast rice (+ niacin) can help.
From an anti-aging aspect, I haven't seen anavar recommended - I'm not up on use of testosterone specifically for anti-aging but for women, I believe generally doctors don't want to touch steroids with women because of the additional stress-producing sides - including blood pressure, lipids, cholesterol, as well as androgenic issues (altho var is mild, it is still a steroid - results & sides are very individual-dependent). You're more likely to see hGH recommended at a true anti-aging clinic. (Although I also don't know the state of those places in recent years with the more aggressive steroid raids going on. Fewer and fewer doctors are willing to risk their licenses for steroid & steroid-related prescriptions.) There are a variety of other OTC supplements recommended to support anti-aging, including things like melatonin, etc. The only case I've seen steroids recommended by a practicing doctor is something like topical testosterone (eg. Androgel) when requested for sexual issues - lack of libido, etc.
