Jon was probably getting paid more than Marco. At least Marco with them. I'd never wish good person anything bad and losing contract would be one of those bad things.

Jon was the best guy they had under contract, Vic is the past Jon is the future. Perhaps he was not a big draw but Jon will be a top name pro soon. Sad to see the industry changing, hard for guys to get a contract now. People who will work for free ruining it for everyone, thats why I don't share links and hashtag shit for companies. They should be paying pros to push their brands, not have little guys like me show my abs and sell their shit for free, I buy it thats my job, its theres to pay people to sell it.

They were doing quite a lot marketing with all those Latino brothas in the Northeast with Mike Pulcinella doing the vids. Of the twelve bodybuilders on their sponsor list only three were not Latino or African-American. With the rise of Wolf and appeal some find in Jay, Branch and DLB of course (dumped MHP) etc might lack of diversity be part of the reason? I think Pulcinella actually did more videos with the MHP guys that weren't on the road winning shows too. As with Active Interest Media's take over of MuscleMag they have moved away from bodybuilders and focus more on Men's Physique. Not sure being a very active stage competitor necessarily translates into a competitive advantage for sponsor and magazine play in the new world order. Take Centopani & Dallas McCarver's aversion to competition as they build their careers as an example.

Maybe it's just good business for MHP to downsize?
I wouldn't take it personally. After all, it wasn't YOU that got fired, so I see no reason to shed tears about another guy you don't know.
