WTF.....Things seen at the gym.
I workout at an Army gym so I will start this off with two of the most frequent things I see.
Bad gyno and crappy tattoos.
Tons of guys just jump on gear during deployments because their buddies are doing it. They didn't workout before and they don't keep it up after. The result......bad cases of gyno.
If I had a dollar for every time I heard this "You should have seen me during my deployment, I was HUGE", I would be a RICH man!
I often walk through the gym and think "Gyno, gyno.....another case of gyno. Whoa check out the HOOTERS on that guy!".
I think the "Flaming Forearms" tattoos have taken over the tribal arm band as the number 1 cheesy Army tattoo? I saw a guy the other day that looked like he just took every Microsoft "Clip art" example and turned it in to a tattoo?Gone but not forgotten, I remember you too Dookie!

Guys bundled up from head to toe in sweats.....
I often ask them "Do you have to make weight TODAY?"......if the answer is no, you are wasting your time.
I like to put things in analogies, think of it this way...
If you body is the wood stove and your fat is the wood, you burn no more wood if all the windows in your house are closed or open! If all the windows are closed (You have full sweats on) you will probably just be miserably hot and cut your workout shorter or put in less effort because you are uncomfortable there by negating what you are trying to accomplish, fat loss.
Think on that one?Gone but not forgotten, I remember you too Dookie!

Not to hijack your thread... and not seen in the gym, but thought I'd contribute a military tattoo tale, swingslammer.
I'm pretty sure his name was Eisenberg. He was a chief petty officer and went out one night -- I forget which port -- and got his chest tattooed. On the one side he had "God bless John Wayne" tattooed and on the other side "F@#% Audie Murphy".
Guess that made sense to a very drunk Navy man.
Soon after, he covered the Murphy text up with an image of a sailing ship. lol

Old men hogging up machines with tons of weight on the machine, and said weight is only moved inches instead of completing a full range of motion. But if you're a senior citizen, I guess partial reps count for something.

Wow where to start. One thing I find odd is when people drink hot coffee while working out, also there is an old man in my gym who thinks the foot pedals on the chest press (the ones you press to lift the bar to the start position) are a leg exercise. I also have lots of people doing that ridiculous pull up/push up thing with the pull up bar; they pull themselves up and over the bar and then do a dip above the bar. And personal trainers...I don't know how people give money to these guys who spend more time chit chatting with them about the party last week than actually coaching them through a workout.

Muscleups? Those are actually pretty impressive for a display of coordination and strength.
