Are the walls tumbling down on MD employees?
Are these employees going to remain working with sales dropping?
BTW: I really hope not, because I ALWAYS read print from Flex to MD to Muscle mag. to Iron magazine so it's kind of sad. I read great articles over the years from them mags .

Hell no, they are going to figure something out.
Way too fucking smart to go down for this type of crap.

Suggestions:
-Could cut back the $75/day food allowance for Team MD members. No alcohol included. Currently they can eat at Subway and get hammered while working and charge the company. Who else does that anymore?
-Implement a standard rate for photographers and videographers shooting at shows, field production, etc. Have a budget for every show rather than treating it like a blank check. There are a wealth of photographers and videographer chaffing at the bit for opportunities.
-Require that the athletes that are paid under contract submit video Q&As & Fit Tips that they record themselves as part of their deals. They do that sort of thing often times for their social and give it away undermining the exclusives anyhow. Nicole Wilkins does both weekly Q&A & FitTip videos for their Women's title and has been doing so for years. Why not the men? Too good? Have the men getting checks do the same or lose their sponsorship. OR dump all of them and just write ghost columns like they do with Arnold, Jay, Phil, etc.
***I don't even consider these suggestions smart, but rather common sense.Last edited by Musclepapa John; 12-19-2014 at 09:28 PM.

Indeed.
Even more strange considering most of the ideas for how to improve their overall business venture come from an obviously miffed ex-contract worker of MD who was accused of being disloyal.
You'd think the desire to give free business advice under such supposedly dubious circumstances would evaporate.Fill up the syringe...

I tried to get these types of short video clips for FRX for Men but my lack of a budget made it difficult for it to come to fruition. I offered a barter deal to different IFBB MPD pros and had the whole thing planned out but I couldn't blame these guys for probably thinking I was full of shit when saying I couldn't pay them while they saw the MD athletes all getting monthly checks.
As a matter of fact, MusclePapa, you and I had touched base near the end of my time at MD for you to edit webcam tip videos that Mr. Intensity himself Joe Donnelly never sent in to me. And he was getting paid and "could do no wrong" according to the hierarchy. Multiple months worth owed to me and it fell on deaf ears.

Well you spent a lot of effort over there tonight with that back and forth with Bob. He isn't a technician, but a Facetime guy and good at that. He can well represent anything, sell ice-cream to eskimos and polish turds into chocolate for sure. Don't despair. Where good and useful information is put out as you know often times people will pick up on your ideas and claim them for their own. Things you have mentioned to me in conversation have been taken to heart and are rolling around in my head days later. Thanks.
