Low Carbs
I'm curious how low carbs should be in terms of fat loss? I know Dave Palumbo advocates for low carbs. But how low?
Thanks

A quick Google offers, "the daily intake of net carbs required to enter ketosis could vary from 20 to 100 grams per day (and very rarely over 100 grams per day). Most people, who have experienced ketosis, claim to have reached that state at about 20-50 grams of net carbs per day. I'd suggest you start at 20-30 grams and see how you can adjust it for your needs."

Shelby tries keto with his clients and of course he changes things up to see how they respond and what works best for them but I did keto under him and the results were great. I think next time I might try carb cycling because a few times I wasn't suppose to have a cheat meal and I went on a eating bing and I dropped weight like crazy the next few days afterward.
Now as far as how low...start at maybe 120 or so grams per day, and once you get stock drop 20 or so grams of carbs until you hit zero. Every time I got stock I alternated between dropping carbs and adding time to my cardio. If you feel like you need refill go for like 100g of carbs for one day, if you feel like your body is dead and you need a cheat meal, go for it but don't go crazy.Last edited by Mr.Dedication; 01-18-2015 at 01:58 PM.
