The selection of supplements in China is almost non-existent. Someone needs to get on that.

Another interesting fact is the current cost of supplements in neighboring Hong Kong (which already has a fairly well established supps market). I havent been shopping for supps in the States for a while but last weekend I was picking up supplements in HK and paid the equivalent of 81 USD for a tub of True Mass.

Yeah the idiots here treat heroin and gear as the same which we all know that it's not . And with Supps the normal price for a pre workout is $60 as an example and in the states it's more like $30-40 plus our dollar is 0.81 usa cents .

all good points. Ihate to say it but China is running the show. Most or close to all our shhh is imports from China. Supps too. This is a sign of REAL slow business for the future of supps in America imo

Anyone familiar with the melamine issue that occured in China a few years back? This was something that happened with baby formula that was manufactured in China. The companies were adding a chemical called melamine (not sure if I'm spelling it right) to their baby formula so that it would show a higher protein content. Turns out that melamine is lethal and actually killed a number of infant children in China.

I mentioned China as a new market for supps because of the growing interest in health and fitness. That and they outragous spending power that many Chinese posses.

When I moved here 6 years ago there was one gym in the city I work (and live part time) in. There are now 6 gyms within something like a 3-4 mile radius.

For real....China EXECUTED at least one of the executive, I think more in the above scandal. That would not have happened in the USA.
