Question for next "Ask Dave" segment:

Dave in your opinion why do you feel the rate of Bodybuilding deaths have seemed to substantially increased over the past few years in comparison to generations past? Obviously there are genetic/hereditary factors at play here however there must be some differentials in amounts or use of drugs compared to the 90s and certainly the 60s-70s.

Secondly in your opinion is this something that the industry should address? Shouldn't those in power and judges begin promoting the physiques of the "Golden Era" and thus probably making the sport healthier? We see many of the "Golden Era" bodybuilders alive and well today. This would probably increase the popularity of the sport as well considering most of the general public would prefer Arnold's physique over the mass monsters.

I'm really enjoying the new show!
My question is this: why is it that some people (especially females) will run an injectable such as equipoise and not experience the more uncomfortable side effects until after they end the cycle or toward the very end?

I know of several people who ran a 8-10 week cycle of a single compound in a modest dose (think 50 mg every 4 days).
They would have dropped the compound sooner if they had seen any negative effects sooner but didn't know until the last week they would have them. Is this related to the length of cycle? Or is it their genetics, or what?

Dave, your show is fucking shit, I dislike it immensely.

What would you recommend diet wise for a natural bodybuilder trying to add quality muscle while not getting too out of shape? Keto? Carb cycling? Balanced macros?

    Cheers

    Dave:

What happened to Jeff Rodriguez? He was a bodybuilder that you profiled on a competing site as well as here. I think he was a sponsored athlete of yours, too.

I "hate" this new segment, bY the way.

    Regards.

Dave - I saw a video you did a few years back mentioning that you like to take .50 mg of anastrozole per day and that's back when you were on only 100 mg of Test per week. What is your opinion on aromatase inhibitors in general? Based on my reading it seems as though most guys on TRT try to avoid taking AI. I am on TRT with high estrogen levels and the doc has me on .250 mg of anastrozole 2x/week. Instead of increasing the anastrozole the doc keeps lowering the Test to get the estrogen in check. Your thoughts? Thanks, Jon. PS - Your show stinks more than Rich Piana's autopsy report.

I have the same type of questions regarding AIs.

    1. I noticed that taking .25mg twice per week it gave me sore joints. How other guys feel on doses higher than this?

    2. What are the long term effects on taking an AI like Arimidex?

    #askdave
Hello Dave and Sid and greetings from Finland.
Firstly I'd like to tell that I hate this show more than Milos hates training without his pre-workout insulin shot.

Given the fact that anabolics boost your performance by e.g. allowing you to train harder, more often and recover faster (lower chance of overtraining) from workouts why do you recommend hitting each muscle group only once a week?
If a person wants to maximize the muscle building effect of these drugs I would assume a higher training frequency to be much more productive then or am I getting something wrong here?

My second question is why did you guys decided to discontinue rewarding the best overall question as well as the best question starting with "I hate" line? Just curious.

Hi Dave, I have a question regarding GH and insulin, I know GH can cause insulin resistance, but I'm confused why is it that it is ok to take insulin with GH if GH causes insulin resistance, wouldn't the insulin just make the insulin resistance worse? And I've read that you are not supposed to eat carbs before and after taking GH, what is the reason for this? And if you take insulin with the GH, you have to consume carbs for the insulin, so wouldn't this contradict not taking in carbs around a GH injection? Thanks Dave
