How is progesterone produced in mens body ? How to reduce it when test and estrogen lvl's are normal and only progesterone is high ?

Dave, I need your input on this.
Why is it that almost every retired (top) bodybuilder loses their triceps almost totally but hang on to their biceps quite well? What's your analysis?
is it a nerve issue? Is it purely due to lack of heavy weights/intensity?

Update:Hi Dave I am new here and I like you since I was 12 year now I am happy that I can reach you by this forum my question is, should I use clen in keto diet ? Hey Dave,
Do you feel any hormones are relationship destroyers? I was talking to a guy in the gym and he mentioned tren. Also I hear some people say tren destroyed their relationship.

SID! FIRST TIMER HERE... Please ask Dave the following- I'm a 41 year old body builder who has recently had several minor quad tears with a more severe grade 2 tear in the rectus femoris. I have been training legs heavy and using knee wraps. Any experience with muscle tears and advice on how to revamp leg training approach?

Sup Sid & Dave? My wife and I have been doi5keto for 2 months and enjoy it. I mix in a week of IF from time to time and like the results of combining the two. My question now: if I use a fat burner during my fasted period would it be considered as a break in my fast? Thanks in advance and I love the content.

Hi Dave, I have two questions.
My first question is:
Which of these weight loss strategies do you prefer and why?
- Increase daily activity to burn extra calories or
- Eat less to create caloric deficit?
My second question regards off-season diet and "bulking":
I know this is a highly individual thing but IN GENERAL how many calories over your maintenance do you recommend consuming if the goal is to keep fat gain in minimum but still maintain a good a performance in the gym. Is it usually better to have a slightly higher surplus of calories instead of being too restrictive with weight gain?
I'd also like to hear what was the Jumbo Palumbo approach to bulking back in the day?

I hate this show more than Stone Cold hates giving up Bourbon!!!
I am 42, 6'5" 213 pounds approx 12%bf. Doing your keto diet for the last 2 months trying to cut for my first ever physique show in April.
The last 2 days my weight loss has stalled and I actually gained 1lb back(214.4) with no change to diet. I read that the thyroid can stop/slow metabolism during lack of carbs. Is that the problem?
--How do you keep your metabolism going well without the use of T3/Clen during keto?
I do our workout split 3 on 1 off. Do 40 min SS cardio after each lifting session. Fats are at about 102g and protein at 321g. What gives? Would I include an extra small carb meal midway through the week? At most I get maybe 20-30g of carbs in whatever foods i eat.
Thanks for all the advice, I binged on your videos while doing cardio...not sure which was worse ;-)

Dear Dave, I hate this show more than Vegan Gains hates gains. Question: when trying to lose a significant amount of fat, say 20 pounds or more, should you calculate macros based on your current weight or your target weight?

Dave, I hate the show more than low carb days.
Typically I usually use 1mg Arimidex or 20mg of Aromasin every other day to control estrogen for the doses I take of anabolics. If Letro is the only drug I have access too-- what do you think would be a comparable dose? Also, your thoughts on Letro in general?

I hate this show so much, I would rather watch a Haitian woman drop a you know what on Big Lenny's Chest than listen to another episode!
I have heard Dave say in previous segments, that people on a keto diet who take too many BCAAs, will turn those into carbs via gluconeogeneis and prevent fat loss. Will the same thing occur with too much electrolyte powder - (minerals: potassium, mageniusm, zinc, calcium...etc)?
