Penn State's football team is getting back 112 wins wiped out during the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal and the late Joe Paterno has been restored as the winningest coach in major college football history. (Jan. 16)

I somehow knew it would be restored somehow. A few years later..... Happens with most public figures. The place of employment makes moves like firing or removing records then later it is ok.

All these things are usually a political reaction with them thinking about a public relations point of view when they do things like this. Not saying it is right or wrong, but greatly influenced by public opinion.

The NCAA got this all wrong. They punished the players at Penn State that had nothing to do with the scandal. Then they fined Penn State which is not allowed by NCAA by-laws, and now are going to have to give the mony back.
They were actually contemplating on giving Penn State football the death penalty like they did Southern Methodist. Really?
I totally agree that the wins be reinstated. How the hell was it an advatage that this went on.
