I love the beginning of this video with the son talking, explaining what he's going to do and how he's going to do it and all the work outs and the dad is just sitting there beaming, just beaming ,proud papa.

They damn sure share the same muscle structure.

No need for a call to Maury on this one.

LEE still looks as good as he did back when he competed. I bet he could do a 212 show and easily place top 5 at 50+ years old!

Hunter already dwarfs his father. I saw the 1987 Mr. Olympia from a satellite hookup that my gym arranged & I can't tell you how shocked everyone was to see Lee, the best "little" guy since Danny Padilla, zoom past the big guys & get 3rd!

Such the epic father son team. Lee, still looking fantastic in his 50's. Inspiring.

Nice to see a functioning father/son relationship. My dad would say steroids and find something to bitch about while eating his chips and drinking his beer. Would be nice to have a fitness talk without a fight with pops. Guess we are dysfunctional

Actually a really good training video, especially for beginners. Some of those finer points take a long time to learn on your own, and from the look of things at the gym, some people never learn those points!

Lee perhaps living vicariously through his son being about 8 inches taller!

I have no cite or statistics, but would assume that is par for the course. Took a psychology class a million years ago and the professor had us do family trees where we asked questions of our uncles, cousins, mother, father, brothers, etc.

Assumed that everyone would have a Walton Mountain story to tell but, for the most part, everyone had some nightmare to reveal. Anyway, you're definitely not alone.

You're not dysfunctional...my old man is the same way. If it's not some kind of car racing or golf, he won't talk about anything. He doesn't see the need to workout, that's why he got up to 330 and had to have surgery in order to lose weight.

Im changing all that with my son.

I'm working hard to make sure my 7 year old son can always have fun hanging with me. I bring him with me when I can to the gym so he can see what I do. It's easy to say your going to be a better dad then you had but in practice it's hard breaking that cycle. But I will make it happen and hopefully look good when I'm 45 so I can work out with my 18 year old.

That's cool to hear. Although by the time my son hits 18, I will 59 but I will still rock the gym with the little guy. He will be 3 this week and he loves going every where I go and gym included. He always says to me after Im done that he needs to do his workout and he goes and gets on the treadmill and picks up the 5 pound db for few squats. Gotta love it.
