I really like this one as most people would be worried that what they say might be laughed about like some Jason Genova sort, but Greg stays on target with his message all throughout and its real and legit.

What jumped out at me was what he said after what you pointed out, Curt. The part about copycats and people following what others do without originality. That seems to fit what this controversy is all about.
That FRX issue with Plitt on the cover has been around for a while. I actually wrote that cover feature & was fired in September right before it hit the newsstand.
Just curious, because everywhere that I saw it (Barnes & Noble, various grocery stores), the same amount of issues that were there from Day One never moved.

Ye ask and ye shall receive, MPJ! Brand X has indeed put together a Plitt memorial digital magazine, which I was surprised to see included my cover feature.
At the expense of sounding like a prick, does a male fitness model garner a memorial issue? People in our own industry didn't even know who he was, myself included until I was hired as a full timer and turned out of Brand X HQ & had to ask them who this guy Plitt was that the Boss Man kept talking about. And I had been freelancing for them for about fours at that time.
Let's not make Plitt out to be Lou Gehrig or someone famous who died from something out of his control.
Here's the link to the memorial issue (which includes a black-on-black logo that is invisible, BTW):

IN OTHER HEADLINES:
After Being Run Over By Train Plitt Was Posthumously Thrown Under Bus by WheyUp Energy Drink
"Bravo star Greg Plitt's favorite energy drink will not give you superpowers ... so says the company that makes WheyUP -- the product Plitt was plugging when he was hit by a train.
The pre-workout drink contains protein and caffeine, but Shadow Beverages and Snacks wants to stress what should be obvious -- it would never give anyone the ability to outrun a train.
Even though a bunch of empty WheyUp bottles were found near the tracks ... a company rep tells us Plitt wasn't drinking all of them -- he was crushing most of them with a hammer for the promo shoot.
Plitt was a co-owner of WheyUp, and the rep says he had full creative control when it came to his video shoots."

Let's face it; most of the men's models are complete egomaniacs. Plitt happened to be an anomaly.... He used his fame to promote his enthusiasm... His passion... For the sport. Most of the other guys out there are selfish and just out for self glory. It's just the fact.

To be fair isn't that a generalization that's applied to everyone in the industry? For me I simply choose not to accept that possibility as a big issue and focus on how there are positive values associated with people in all divisions that do indeed motivate and inspire others.

The next issue (white cover, male fitness model who is a BPI athlete even though they don't advertise in that title) was also collecting dust on the store shelves and has been out for a while, too. (They come out every other month, so the 'display until____' date in the UPC code box is longer than if it were a monthly.)
The other consistent thing about these issues since I was sent packing (besides having non-celebrities on the covers and not getting any TV exposure) is that they are going down in pages - editorial and advertising - with this current one (Jan. 2015) a scant 82 pages.
Even their women's title is below 100 pages.

Crazy how joe Donnelly wants to be Greg plot. But why? Why want to take someone's persona? At least give Greg credibility. Look at this video of joe. He copy's gregs mind set and Philosophy even the set of words Greg uses. https://m.youtube.com/watch?list=FLd...&v=hyuzWZ8NL9Y
One someone is successful you'll have clones. Is like when Eminem said will the real slim shady please stand up. Let me know what u guys think of the video. If u guys see the video that curt
James posted and the video of joe. Joe Donnelly copy's everything Greg says even from when Greg says don't pay mind to third party subjectives. Idk if that's really joe but that's creepy as fuck
