I don't use pre-workouts but I use most of Species line for protein shakes (isolyze), and I also use fiberlyze every day. I think they're the best if you want a pure whey isolate with no sugar or GI distress.I think lipolyze and somalize are great non-stim fat burners. Lipolyze is outstanding as a sleep aid too. My partner uses carbolyze, arthrolyze and omegalyze and likes them as well. We are a Species household for all that stuff.

As far as the handful of non-Species, we use NOW and Source Naturals because of availability of specific single nutrients and price.

Geez, it's been so long since I've really had to buy supplements. I used to get all my protein from True Nutrition for it's quality and the ability to customize.

Even before Jay come out with his line, I knew enough people in the industry that I'd get a shit ton of samples for preworkouts and such and would just alternate brands daily.

I don't use much else besides fish oil which I usually get from TN.

This is a great way of buying supplements. Raw materials, straight from the source. It'd be great to see more of this.

When are Carbs and Protein VERY Important Post-workout?

    Carbs:
    - During leg Training + HIIT Cardio or doing a 2-3 hour intense workout session
    Protein:
-Resistance Training in a fasted state (no meal consumed at least 3-4 hours prior)

When are Carbs and Protein of lesser importance Post-workout?

    Carbs:
    - 1-2 hour training session after a pre-workout meal (Small or mixed 2-3 hours prior to session)
    Protein:
    - Training after a meal composed of 20-40g Protein at least 1-2 hours prior to a workout in a fed state.

    Overall Cliffs:

    - Nutrient Timing can be beneficial but window of opportunity is not as big as believed
    - Provided protein rich meal 3-4 hours prior to training, there is no stress about immediate post-workout protein supplement or meal
    - Consume .4-.5g/kg of LBM in a pre/post workout exercise window spaced 4-6 hours depending on meal size.
    - Post workout carb intake does not meaningful increase aabolicsm unless doing a 2 a day workout session involving same muscle groups. Glycogen is not a limting factor if you can consume enough Carbohydrates daily in the 24 hour period.

Vitargo Is proven to be faster digesting then , karbolyn, and waxy maize, for people that want a fast digesting carb it is, if you disagree, you can speak with anthony almada yourself a nutrition genius and entrpreneur who would be more then willing to speak to you about it. So Bob, or anyone else on here who wants to bash this product feel free, will PM his email as he is a very good friend of mine and who has done more behind the scenes for this industry then anyone know

    Thats great it digets quick
none of us are endurnace athletes
none of us are running marathons

i am not bashing the product its common sense, we lift for 60-75 minutes
the amount we burn in that session is not needed for high amonuts of fast digesting or high GI Carbs, you and I both know that most of us who train in a fed state have food overlap and the need for high GI carbs of spiking insulin is 100% False i have a thread with about 8 studies in it alone.

no supplement is necessary, btu for most of us who train we dont need loads of high GI Carbs or simple carbs for that matter. Sure they are great for endurance athlets, but how many meatheads do you see as endurnace athletes or need more carbs than they burn in a workout that they consume in a drink?

Now, if we were running 200-300 yards every saturday named Gourley, or a Lynch running for a SB ring, or in the olympics, then yeah were talking night and day.

Goddamn, the majority of you people waste so much fucking money on this shit it is crazy.

If you took that extra cash and bought more steak, chicken, eggs, potatoes, rice and pasta, you'd grow better - and to address some of your concerns - more organically, than any manner of growth you would get from those plastic tubs of shit.

Real food, AAS + its ancillaries, and fuck OTC supplements.

Now, if you're a scared, needle-fearing nattie, and also lack the discipline to cook multi-meals daily, sure, they're better than nothing.

But, with that as your weakness, you might as well give up on any appreciable advances anyway.

You mean the ones that have little to no supplement knowledge, how to dose a product, or the benefits of the things he is suggesting?
