I bailed halfway through the video. I can only listen to Lobliner's out of breath, always hyped up rambling for so long.

Sure, people are going to interpret available research differently. Plenty of pretty bright folks read into (and have experienced for themselves) a benefit with intraworkout supplementation.

Is it necessary for the average gym rat, or even more advanced folks? Not if everything else (pre, post etc) are already addressing certain requirements of the big picture.

Stating an always yes or always no is probably more an issue of making sales vs not having an intra-product in your own line.

This video is quite funny. The study made by the guys that sell the "product" with "arrange" panel of people that don't diet properly. SO it's ok if they had intra-workout during their training and that they have some good results. Their diet is just not on point during the day; So the extra amino acids and carbs will help. But they could use it before the workout or after the workout and be as good (With protein shake and carbs or with a complete meal) LOOOL

When Marc Lobliner says that JM won't endorse something he does not believe in. Huum yeaaah like plasma ^^.
https://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma But Hey … just read and have fun.

And Lobliner recommends his supplement during training as an intra-workout. Of course he will say that Dave Palumbo and Chris Aceto analysis on intra-workout is not right (for him) and prefer J.M explanation/ theory

I don't think it hurts, but certainly if everything else is in order, it's not necessary. Bottom line is that Dave's diet and training philosophy works. I only wish I'd come across it in my early 20's rather than late 30's early 40's.

    Lobliner = Douche bag.

Yep I understand, and agree with you.
I won't say he is a douche i don't know enough about him, but his opinion on I.W supp well it's biased. If I had a company selling I.W, I would probably do the same i.e lie about the products and his presumed propriety, find, analyze or make any study that arranges my business.
But there is other ways to make money than lying. You can only come up with great quality supplements because you believe in them and then show the benefits of them. Will you make as much money, maybe not in the short term. But when all the bad non respectable companies that took customers for fool will be "revealed/busted" the few respectable supp companies that only made high quality sups that work will still be there making money.
(Maybe I have a naive vision, but I believe that we must always think "long term" on these matters)

    ^^^ Bingo
Everyone will have their own stance on what works for them, what they believe in, and what has worked for them.

Just like how Palumbo and his dieting methods may be more Keto and LISS based,
Then look at Norton for instance he does a lot of higher carbs, refeeds, and HIIT Cardio and his clients win pro cards like no tomrorow
I know Marc does his own clients and contest prep with athletes and utilizes multiple different approaches and has a ton of success

There is no one size fits all when it comes to anything related to diet and training, what he beleives it probably why he made his statement. What Dave believes and does is what works for him and his clients, just like every other coach out there (Aceto, Starnes) etc.

I can guarentee if you compared each individuals intra-workout protocol is would vary based off ingredients, supplements and dosages best suited on their preference.

In the end everyone will argue their methods, is everyone going to be right? not so much, the human body is not a textbook.

I love his stuff but I don't always agree with what he says.
And I met him once in Dallas when I worked for ALRI and he seemed really cool. Definitely more relaxed than he appears in his rants.
