Default Do you think outside the box w training?

Some people do the same shhh every single time, but ever use different angles or different grip to really see what happens? Its like most people just have that number of reps or set in their head when their main focus should be tearing the muscle down in any way shape or form.

So, do you think tearing the muscle down every single workout is right or once in a while?
I feel like each time I go in I learn something new that I could of done, or should of done. It like im learning to:

The biggest dudes in the gym don't do anything "exactly the same each and every time". The goal is to get better....which for me generally means if you can do lat pull downs with the whole stack with a pause at full contraction, than you probably have some huge fucking traps to go with it.

It is way different than simply doing some reps.

I usually do them to the rhythm of Flo Rida's "GDFR". If I actually look like I'm dancing, I win.

i love learning or seeing ppl do different movements that i could incorporate in the gym, john meadows was great for this

but more than that just moveing body parts during the same exercise is important, like going a month squatting with a wide stance or tighter stance

...and I meant lats in my post not traps.

I just have traps on the brain lately.
I'm thinking of injecting synthol into mine so they stand OVER my head....then I will draw a face on each side.

I think so many people try to think outside the bow training wise/ Supplement wise and diet wise lately so that they lose perspective to what basics are. They think so outside of the box that their training will look like 3 to 4 angles machines for chest, + exercise with cable shit, reverse assisted bench press. Instead of doing clean and nice sets of dumbbell or barbell presses.
The same for nutrition you will see people do all kinds of fancy stuff adding coconut oil on all their meals because they read that it's good for them (one study made by coconut oil company by the way ahahah)
They will also try every diet possible that is easy to follow such as : "if it fits your macro " so that they can indulge sweets and treats. But they will shy away from a clean type of meal : " Chicken breast, rice and beans. Or fish/steak, potatoes and broccoli (or baby spinach leaves).

Well i think you all get my point. I'm tired of people that always want to think outside the box without mastering what they really could benefit from the "inside of the box"

All good points. Prof. X. I'd say as long as you feel the pump, you can listen to garth brooks or even songs like roxette and feel a pump. Give you an example

I don't know if you consider it outside the box but I like to mix up my rep ranges and sequence of excercises, for that body part. At the end of the day it's matter of listening to your body and trusting tried and true methods.... In short common sense lol

I built a box around myself like people used to build their homes around basement deep-freezers.
