HRT and Building Tolerance
Do people who are on HRT for years (5, 10, 20+years) gain a tolerance to the dosing?
What I mean is: If someone is on 150mgs of Test and their levels are in the 900 range, would that decrease over time where they would need to up their dose to 200mgs or more to keep their range in the 900 range? (these are just hypothetical numbers for this example).
Thank you!

Tolerance is not a issue with TRT...what does happen as men age is they aromatize testosterone to estrogen by a increase in the aromatase enzyme....it occurs in all men...so when a male feels their 150mg ew is losing its punch....estrogen is the #1 culprit and needs to be addressed...

I've been on 200 mg weekly for about ten years and my levels are pretty consistent. My doctor cuts me down to 100mg for a month or so once in a blue moon.

Also prescribes arimidex to use every so often, might have used it a total of 3x for a week in the ten years I've been on hrt. Hope this helps ?

Almost all DR's in the US prescribe adex...some recent research shows adex has the potential to be worse for your hdl/ldl ratio then testosterone..it has reflected that in my labs also...I use aromasin whenever possible...
