    Default curious first timer

    Hello I'm contemplating starting my first cycle and have been doing a ton of research but would love some additional guidance. Some info about myself:
    5'2" 120lbs, been training consistently a little over 6 years, I have competed 4x in figure in natural shows and although I did fairly well, I've reached a point that my body really doesn't seem to want to put on any more muscle, gains have been slow if anything, despite consistent training, minimal cardio, and a good diet. I already carry a decent amount of muscle but know if
    I stepped on stage again Id need to make some drastic improvements to be happy with myself.

    Currently I use creatine, Bio-Gro (just started a few days ago), DHEA, a multi, CLA, Poweful(Usp Labs) and Clen, which I started for the first time about a week and a half ago.

    Wondering if its time to add something more but feel like I'm still in the dark about where to start first. How did you ago about starting your first cycle? Where did you find reliable info? And what do you wish you knew that you know now when starting?

    You can also go to the advanced search feature in the upper right corner of the RX forum page and search "women" "anavar". For a first timer and in Figure, there's no reason for you to consider anything other than anavar. See the article I linked for all the details.

    Thanks Sassy69! I suspected Anavar would be the best starting point but read through the article, lots of helpful stuff.

    Def no reason to screw around w/ other stuff until you've really pushed yourself w/ the recover-ability that var offers you.

    Excited to start my first cycle next week. Have done a good deal of reasearch and plan on starting with 5mg total (1/2am and 1/2pm) for a few days to assess how I feel then if possible increasing to 10mg. What should I expect to feel/ how will I look for my first week of two off the cycle when its completed? Not sure how I should time it to cycle off since Im in a wedding right around the 10 week mark and am wondering if I should be prepared for fluid fluctutations/bloat?

    Run the 5 mg for 10-14 days. That's how long var takes to "saturate". If you have any adverse effects they will happen within that time frame. A couple of days won't necessarily make a difference.

    If you are experiencing water retention that you are not comfortable with, then drop the cycle at 7-10 days before your wedding event to allow time for the water to flush out of your body.

    Keep in mind with your expectations, that if you are not already lean, you may find yourself being more "thick" since steroids promote lean mass gain. I assume you want to be leaner for this wedding event, so pay attention to your diet to achieve that. If you are eating sloppy or trying to do a serious bulker diet w/ this cycle, expect to get bigger, regardless of water retention.
