Jake & Kristal Wood, Wings of Strength & Tim Gardner Productions proudly announce the birth of the 2015 IFBB Wings of Strength's Rising Phoenix World Championships on August 22 in San Antonio. This exclusive & most prestigious IFBB female bodybuilding event will be held in conjunction with the inaugural IFBB Wings of Strength Texas Pro & NPC Tim Gardner Texas Extravaganza, NPC National qualifier. 1st place ~ $50,000
2nd place ~ $25,000
3rd place ~ $12,500
4th place ~ $7,500
5th place ~ $5,000

Why is there always such a stupidly huge difference in 1st and 2nd place prize money.Half the time the people who get those placings are equal and the judges probably just toss a coin to decide the winner.Why should you get 50% less when you're just as good as the eventual winner? Stupid I think. Just look at last years 212 division Olympia mens top3 . Would you think Flex deserved to have double or triple the prize money that Correa and Raymond had considering they were on par? I think something closer to a 3-2-1 ratio would be more fair.

Awesome !!! Will be doing that show and dallas show . image.jpg Pretty excited since WSR will be in my hometown of SA, Texas and won't need to spend $$$ to travel

. Currently at 125lbs and 16 weeks out . So let the prep begin

Please...please please let more that 10 women show up? Less than that and I fear everyone who says "The women don't even show up for contests but bitch there are no contests" will be right.

Am pretty sure that there will be more than 10 in fbb show up ...if they truly do it for the love of competing they will show up, besides all women take the chance when they step on to the stage regardless if there was and OLYMPIA qualification or not since a win is never a guarantee or a top placing for that matter

Really terrific news! The IFBB Pro World title for women's bodybuilding hasn't been contested since 1999. I always thought it was a great title to win. Two former Pro World title winners - Lynn Conkwright (1981) and Carla Dunlap (1982) were invited to compete at the ABC Women's Superstar competition back in 1982 and '83. They were invited because of the prestige of the title - Pro World Champion.
