Best cycle when coming off an injury
I recently had surgery to repair a complete tear of my proximal hamstring tendons from my pelvis.. A bit bummed because it will be a good 6 months before I can train seriously again. I am post-op one week and not allowed to activate my hamstring at all. I'm training upper body (just light) at home but unfortunately on crutches for at least 6 weeks.... Already lost 1/2" on injured leg... Any recommendations to maintain what I have. I am also wondering what the best cycle would be to add back the lost muscle once cleared to lift again.
Any advice welcomed.... signed ..
slowly wasting away..

When I broke my leg as soon a I was able I went to the gym and trained upper body with machines. Then I started doing the bike and light leg ex and leg curls. Whatever you lose will come back quickly. The only thing I lost was mass in the hurt leg. My triceps grew from walking with crutches. Stop measuring your legs it will only screw with your head.

Oh yeah...staying away from the measuring for sure!! I just didn't realize the length of rehab. Takes about 12 weeks for the tendon to reattach to the bone. Worst part is not being allowed to bend at the waist.... I'm not even allowed to bend the knee so I don't activate my hammy and only allowed partial weight bearing....err lol
