Road to the Pro's

Hey does anyone know whatever happen to the TV show Road to the Pro's? It was supposed to star Bill Willmore and a few other amateurs at the time and document their journey's to getting a pro card. I even think they relocated Bill or someone else do to a hurricane. Wish it would of came out, would of loved to see it. Would of been cool to see something like that on Discovery or TLC.

The Footage is Shot and sitting in storage in GA. should be released soon. It is a waste for it to sit for so long . At least we get it back - Bill Wilmore was a Monster and we had everyone from shawn Ray to Flex to Lenda Murray - it will be worth the trouble - Thanks for the interest

Wow! Any other updates like where to find it and around when it will come out....? I think we have waited long enough!

There was legal issues between Fred (the guy who funded it) and Jay (the guy who was in charge of Producing it)...Jay had some sort of rights to the name or something and the two ofthem had a huge dispute....I heard Jay mis-managed the funds or something and a big dispute ensued n the whole thing got scratched.....sucks because little old me was one of the athletes.....there were 11 of us...4 turned pro that year and 7 of us did not.....it wouldve been a good story too, its a shame things got messed up....it was supposed to have been aired all around the world.........sigh .........I couldve been famous now dammit...lol ;-)......I hope it comes out but I wouldn't bet on it.....I hope it does get finalized and aired but its been awhile now, so id say its unlikely....and really its too bad because I thought it was a GREAT idea (if you notice there still hasnt been a reality show about bbing).....It had good characters and wouldve showed the glory of victory and in my case and 6 others, the agony of defeat and failure

One thing I do want to say however is that I like both of those guys....Fred was always a gentleman to me and very down to earth and is a very cooll dude.....Jay was always cool to me as well....ill give u an example..........I was basically cast as a long shot, as an underdog story, to win the light-heavies at the 2005 Nationals....and I messed up pre-contest with all the pressure of the tv show and tried too hard and overdieted and didnt show up at my best....as a result I didnt even make the top 15 out of 40 of us.....but I think it would have been such an awesome show because it was REAL.......as soon as i walked out from backstage Jay said "het big guy, we gotta get an interview with you now, while its fresh, we want the raw emotion"....I lashed out at him and said "why so I can be even more embarrased in front of the whole world?" he said "NO!..Justinian I didn't pick you because I thought you were gonna win, I think you have the potential to win this show for sure and I hope you keep striving to do so one day cause even though you were off ur mark today you still looked good up there and should have at least made the top 15 cut....and I'm sorry u didn't but this is the Nationals baby!...the best amateurs in the world...but I picked you because of who you are as a person not just as a bodybuilder, you're a likeable person and a unique character...you are multi-faceted as a person, an entrepreneur and a friend.....u are very motivational and make this project so much more than it would be without you!....its not about the result but the journey"......and i felt his sincerity and saw it in his eyes.......so i did the interview....stopping a couple times with tears building up in my eyes when I spoke of sacrifices id made to be there with my family and my business etc.......its funny but when the inetrview was done all the camera guys were wiping their eyes and sniffling saying "yo Justinian, you are all heart bro.....u'll be back"......my goal when i signed up wasn't to fail in front oif the whole world.....but as it turned out.....I like the role I played and wish it had aired....it would have been something people wouldv'e watched......I hope they can still work things out......but if not I hope somebody does another one.......and if so I hope I get a second chance and next time get it right! ;-)
