Well McDonald’s took another big hit today with a giant recall of over 1 million chicken nuggets after customers found something in them that definitely wasn’t white meat chicken.

The mystery ingredient was plastic.

According the Wall Street Journal:

The operator of the McDonald’s chain in Japan continues to experience drama with its side menu offerings.

A piece of vinyl was found in a chicken nugget sold over the weekend at one of its restaurants in the northern prefecture of Aomori, a spokesman for McDonald’s Holdings Co. (Japan) Ltd. said Monday.

I'm not a fan of McDonald (composition wise, quality wise and taste wise). I always think that if I want to enjoy a greasy/carby/nasty meal at least I should chose a quality one that I enjoy VERY much.
As a comparison, if I was into prostitue, I won't be the kind of guy that would have a 10/20 dollars hooker, I would rather enjoy the services of a 1st class escort girl

We are testing first in our Japananese market and will have an update soon on the expected bebifits.)

The under the glass part was inconsequential or unimportant from my perspective. The take home message was that actual french fries turned to goo in short order while McDonald's so-called french fries proved to be the fast food version of the undead. Like a plastic lawn chair, they didn't decompose.
