The model has only gained 20 pounds thus far, but says her doctor assures her that the baby is healthy.
“The doctor said my baby is healthy. All my girlfriends that are pregnant now, their bellies are a lot bigger, so I asked him and he started laughing. He was like, ‘You’re fine,'” she explained.
- Model Sarah Stage is pregnant ... and very fit
- Some followers telling her that her body is 'hurting the baby'
Body-shaming isn't always reserved for the overweight. Take Sarah Stage, a lingerie model for Elite Models, who just so happens to be very pregnant in a very nontraditional way.

The 30-year-old model, who is nearly nine months pregnant, has been posting pics of her body in stages on her personal Instagram account, and her followers have been quite surprised at what they are seeing.
Some people are very impressed at how Stage looks.
"Thank you for showing me that being fit during a pregnancy is possible! You look beautiful and are just glowing!" wrote Instagram user kinu26.
Others are the opposite of impressed, calling her body "unrealistic."
Model Molly Sims told Entertainment Tonight that Stage's body was "not normal." Her followers also had some reservations about her look.
"I don't know where you found this girl however I find her somewhat creepy," wrote Instagram user mrs. paone.
"Stop ur baby's brain can't grow if u refuse to," wrote another user.

Follows her pregnancy...while causing towels and napkins across America to become pregnant also.
She apparently works undercover for Jergens.

x3. I gained a total of 23 pounds with my 3rd baby, and swam every day up to the day I delivered full-term, no complications, baby's weight was right on target. Walked out of the hospital 2 days later in my pre-pregnancy size 2 jeans. At my 6-week checkup I was just 6 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm one of my doc's poster children that it CAN be done without ballooning out of proportion.

I like the many people who are not doctors telling her that she is wrong when her own doctor says she is on target.
Gee, who should she listen to? The anonymous lady who said her baby's brain can't grow....or her OBGYN?

Exactly! I can't begin to count how many people expressed concern and gave me advice on gaining weight and stopping my exercise program, because I was hurting my baby. Didn't seem to matter to them that my doc was the head of high risk OB at a nationally known hospital! LOL!!

Repped! Awww! Thank you!
It's embarrassing though, when I compare myself to my friend with NINE kids! I've known her since our first babies were infants. And yeah, she still looks SMOKING HOT after the 9th! Keeping with the theme of the thread, she's probably never gained more than 25 lbs with ANY of those 9 pregnancies!Last edited by Sunnyday; 03-12-2015 at 09:59 PM.
