Default Getting old but staying young

Now that I am approaching 60, I am starting to think more about longevity and not as much about hypertrophy. It's more important to me to be able to enjoy life than bench 350lbs and have 18" arms. Not that I wouldn't love to have those, it's just the most important aspect of my health and training goals.

For a long time I have been studying and using anti-aging supplements. This goes back to the days of Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw who helped propel their Life Extension book and ideas to the public.

Well, to cut to the chase. I found the supplement PQQ Pyrroloquinoline quinone - Wikipedia, that has just blown me away and what it does for me.

    Read the above link.

I thought it was placebo effect but now I know it's not. I am a software engineer and my programming abilities have increased 5 fold. My focus and concentration is so much better, as I have always had a form of ADHD.

Has anyone else ever used this? You need to grab some and give me your feedback.

What happens if the huge arms and bench help you enjoy life?

I'm not knocking you, I just know I have done this all my life because I love it.

I could see not trying to be 300lbs, but I would hope my arms never get under 18".

I benched 405 touch n go for reps in the late 80s at bodyweight of 160. It helped bolster my little man complex, not much else. At that weight 18" arms are huge.

It's not that I am not going to train, I would never want to stop that. It brought me from the brink of alcoholism.

Kudos to you that you can be 300lbs with 21" arms. You would dwarf me, but that's not the point I am making.

As long as my cock doesn't retire when I do, all's good.

I am not on any HRT or steroids, other than vitamin D and some DHEA.

I do not need it YET as my test levels are still in the normal range.

I have some Clomid, courtesy of IML Research and have been reading about how it raises testosterone.

No GH and too much stress.

Yeah supposedly long term use EOD can raise testosterone with minimal sides, that you way also stay worry free away from exogenous test - and doesnt affect BP. also gives you a quick option out, as you can easily drop it if you feel its too costly, or whatever.

I would just concentrate on heart health tbh, anything that will make you FEEL stronger, the better.

I take Ubiqinol for a healthy heart. It's great for fat loss too.

Just reading up on this. Pretty molecule I gotta say (being a chemist).

How long have you been taking PQQ and at what dosage?
