Fave song & vid of mine, Ace.
I don't think there's any question that Justin is the future of the IFBB open men's competition. I expect him to be the new Jay Cutler, in fact.

Oh boy...here we go...wasn't evan to be the future,...wait or was it cedric....no wait it was Beyeke or Roelly ....I have mad respect for Compton... But I think we should let the dude accomplish something before we call him the future.
I would say he has the potential to be the future....time will tellLast edited by blacktaboo; 03-15-2015 at 10:21 PM.

Does Phil have the potential to be the all-time longest running Mr. Olympia winner? Absolutely yes.
Does Compton have the potential to be a Mr. Olympia winner at some point? Ditto.

The real question is : Why would the future of bodybuilding always have to be determined/tied with the future of one individual in some people's mind ? (as great he would be ) ^^

It's so easy to get caught up in "Does so and so have the potential to..." discussions. Heck, how many of us were waiting for Kai to win at some point? How many thought Wolf would bring up his calves?
Compton is good, damn good, and he's still a relative newb. If he's got more potential in the tank, compared to the current crop of top pros (and this is important to note), he's gonna do some real damage.
Ramy still hasn't really stepped up at the O (in my opinion), Wolf hasn't put it all together, RHoden is one of my favs, but I'm wondering if this is all we're gonna see..... It's all a crap shoot.
With Phil though,... there was a thread somewhere that showed his worsening conditioning the last 3-4 years. Now I'm not saying he's totally going downhill, as you never know what surprises someone could pull (Cutler in '09?), but each year, the competition brings newer, potentially better (?) athletes into the fold.

I think Compton failed to live up to the hype this year, big time. Abs looked like shit and his back reminded me of Paul Dillett. I thought Roelly was better than him in Australia.

McCarver, Montgomery and Ramy can be better than Compton. Heath, Rhoden, Wolf, Kai and Cedric aren't going anywhere either, unless they want to retire.
