Good for the officer. That idiot deserved what he got. Can't rob a Walmart for a rifle and ammo, start loading in the store, then go out in public waving a weapon around that can penetrate cars, bullet proof vest, etc.

I also doubt many here will see that case as unwarranted if they are already for cops shooting men while on the ground.

I also posted a case where a man was holding a toy rifle in a store who got shot to death as the closest example of this.

So perhaps next time make your own thread rather than posting ten comments that have nothing to do with the initial story.

I'm all for thread drift, and although I agree with you that this case is "way different than gunning down defenseless black men in the back or when they are already on the ground," I'm still curious as to why you'd bring that discussion into this discussion?
