he took the "tall bodybuilders must work 3 times as hard" to a whole other level of annoyance. He was like a broken record. Other tall bodybuilders like Tony Freeman never kept ranting on and on about it that way. The year he did the Olympia he almost got into a fight with the Puero Rican pro now retired over the whole tall guy vs shirt guy BS

When you're his height even the average bodybuilder height is short(just look at the difference between him and DJ) so you could kind of see where he was coming from. No one his height wins shows.Well not often anyway. I reckon he was just doing it trying to get some attention in the style of King Kamali and Craig Titus but it didnt work for him. Being that tall does suck and so did being short until they re-introduced the divisions that improved their chances of favourable placings.

They have nothing on Quincy height wise. It's just the way it is .Some(like you) will speak out about stuff and others wont ,even if it bothers them.

The fact that he felt the need to bring that up at the official olympia press conference says a lot about his persona. tony Freeman was at the same Olympia, he just sat there and not once complained about the "struggles of being a tall bber"
