Always interesting to see what others do with their diets. Our bodies are all different and IMO the diet needs to fit the genetics, lifestyle, and preferences of the individual or he/she will not stick to any diet long term. If it works for you and you are achieving your goals on it, then go with it.

Based on your knowledge and experience, do you think that is too little calories, or not enough of this or not enough of that? Any suggestions to improve on this? I currently weigh approx 200lbs at 5'5"

Hard one for me to answer. At 5'2", I have the metabolism of a hummingbird and can get lean on 2000 calories with 20 mins cardio 4x/week.

That said, have you tried to push more calories at various meals and see how you look? I assume you have the candy bar and cocoa PWO because it's your preference. Nothing wrong with that IMO if you look the way you want.

The candi bar is usually a kit kat, twix, or mounds (I like coconut) in a mini bite size...the hot cocoa is the pure one unsweetened, I just add some lowfat whipped cream as a topping. they really dont add many calories, and also chocolate is known for having its health benefits and makes me sleep better.
By the way I forgot to mention that i cook my meals in organic non-GMO coconut oil, so that also adds up calorie-wise

I agree with you on the coconut. Great stuff. John Meadows is known to eat his fair share of Jenni's Macaroons. I make my own and dip them in melted bittersweet chocolate and top with roughly chopped almonds. Like homemade Almond Joy!

I assume you do ok with the casein that early? I know coaches who believe it's best to do it end of day because it's so slow to digest.

The reason why I do casein for breakfast is because sometimes work doesnt allow me to have lunch for quite a while. The casein along with the cashew butter and oats (or sweet potato) help the shake turn into a bonafide "liquid meal" that keeps me full long enough until i can finally take my lunch break

Yes! That is why I often have a Mounds bite size bar after dinner...Chocolate on the outside, coconut on the inside...cant go wrong with that

I was guessing that's why you put it early. Most jobs are not bber diet-friendly.

I like my job, but our breaks, due to business needs, change daily, so I cant afford to have a meal that will clear out too quickly and risk to starve for many hours. By using casein, cashew butter, and complex carbs, I am set for whatever the day may present

I eat a big plate of egg whites (or whole egg/whites depending on time of year) as my last meal too. Love 'em with spinach, I think that is a winning combo. I've done them with a little chopped tomato plus spinach and that is great too.

Lately I have been cooking my chicken the night before and then without washing the pan, fry my eggs in the same pan. Tastes like fried chicken, I call it chicken fried eggs. Highly recommend it if you haven't tried it. Every time I make that my teenage daughter and husband ask me to make them some too. So the three of us sit there late at night eating our eggs. Bonus family time with healthy food! Win-win!

Can't argue with that logic. Makes total sense to me.

^^^same reason why I have my egg meal last thing at night. At that point I dont need that many carbs (Inta MD during training already contains carbs) so I go for protein/fat I also take 2 more fish oil gelcaps during this last meal and another 1000mg vit C
