When I started training Frank Zane was still Mr. Olympia and I started the six-times-a-day eating when Arnold made his comeback and I'm still at it.
It's a journey. Enjoy it. It's fun, but the world will not come to an end and your arms really won't shrink if you miss a meal here and there.
No one emphasized PWO's and supplement timing 20 years ago and guys still grew.
Keep a balance in your life with everything. Don't let bodybuilding consume you. There are many things in life to enjoy too!
Have fun with it all!

I'm 5'6" and have wanted to be Batman ever since my parents bought me the pajamas. Sometimes I get lazy and sometimes I skip meals and eat like shit, but when I look in the mirror and see myself looking worse than the day before it drives me right back to the gym. I don't think I'll ever be able to stop completely.

I seriously couldn't imagine not living this way of life. Sure, you take time off from the gym or the same food you eat day in and day out. Even those days, I still have to eat a bodybuilding meal eventhough its not my routine meal. I couldn't possibly think of eating some poptarts for breakfast and food served at college for lunch and then dinner. When I played baseball in college before bb'ing, I dont know how I managed myself everyday without eating throughout the day. Im sure when its family time down the road there may be a break, but I couldnt go without eating every few hours.

I agree, i also think too many people today heavily rely on supps. I always like to keep my supps to a min. and worry more about eating right and training. I think bodybuilding should be a sport to enjoy it day in and day out. I will always enjoy the sport because its my stress reliver after a long day at work, it also helped me through tough relationship break ups, nothing else could do what the sport does for me emotionally. And ofcourse not to forget, how good it makes me look and feel.

Sure if some thing else comes along and grabs your interest more than bodybuilding.

bodybuilding is the perfect sport for me.. I will be honest
I am cocky, self centered, and an attention whore
I guess thats what you get being an only child...........
I also like that its all on YOU.. I was in many team sports throughout school, and was tired of others possibly hurting the team.

Sometimes I feel this way about my muscle too. My legs keep getting bigger, even if i dont train them. theyre freaking monsters! lol...jk..
but really..all the extra water i carry about..the emotions tied with it...I think its stuck like this forever. Eventually though, when we reach our prime (30's) it should be easier..right?
I am 23...still a pup in the industry I think..
