Do you have a support system?
50-year-old Stephen Bingham trains every day at Market Health Spa, in South Shields states:
“It’s quite hard to fit training around my job, I work seven days a week, so it is tough, but I’ve got a lot of support.
“I have to thank Rob Hills for helping me with my training and dietary needs over the last 30 years, and my wife Dawn for being so supportive.”

Do you have a support system?
And, if so, who does it involve? Do you have a trainer, someone who does your diet, a supportive significant other or spouse who prepares your meals, a good friend at the gym who gives you a much needed kick in the...Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

A support system for diet and training is such a relief for some people. That's why I think Hire somebody that does makes sure you get what you need (food/training/recuperation wise) could be a great thing. Provided that the guy do know what he's talking about !

Society as a whole is so fucking weak. A support system? Seriously?
24 hours in a day; if you can't find the time to train you're an excuse making loser, not someone who doesn't have a 'support system'.
Pathetic, weak little shits.Fill up the syringe...

Reps on recharge for your opinion, Maniacal.
Check out my training journal, see what I do in the gym whether or not anyone's looking, whether or not I have a show on the horizon. In spite of my ailments and my 47 years of age, with just 5 years of lifting experience and no sports background I can bench 1.2x my bodyweight for reps, I have deadlifted just 5 lbs shy of 2x my bodyweight, and have squatted 1.5x my bodyweight for 12. Consider I get up at 5:30 and go to bed at 12:30 am. That 5 hrs sleep alone in some peoples' minds justifies a day off from the gym, yet I lift 6 days per week. I have 3 kids ages high school to kindergarten (one of them special needs) who all need help with homework and to get driven to and from sports...OH, and a husband...and a household that would fall apart if I didn't step up to the plate and take care of it...AND that I cook 99% of the family's meals from scratch...AND that I deal every day with degenerative joint disease in my hip and low back for which I take no pain killers, not even OTC.
Before I had my kids I could not only do my own car repairs like oil changes, brakes, and rotors, but could drop a steering column on my car and replace a turn signal switch, with no one around, without having a mechanic looking over my shoulder. I taught MYSELF how to do car repairs. I've also done some pretty impressive masonry to include a large water garden. Did I mention I also hold and advanced degree in chemistry and have done metabolic studies for the FDA? I'm anything but pathetic and weak as you say. I have no real NEED for the accountability; most of us posting here don't. Yet there are some days when my joint pain is debilitating and because of that support system I still get up and keep moving.
We respect you for your opinion. Respect us for ours.Last edited by Sunnyday; 05-09-2015 at 04:00 PM.

Jay Cutler had Chris. Batman had Robin and Alfred, Mike Tyson had Cus d'Amato (not Don King, He was cockroach, prick, parasite). So I guess even superhero do have support system.
However I got Maniacal point, it's great to have a support system. But the main and only essential support should be from within. IMO, it's safer that way and enable you to be stronger too.David Cua also called Donald Pump known for "making bodybuilding great again" !

I'll clarify because I have respect for you, and separately, I'm stunned you're 47, you look amazing, (not that 47 is old but you look 30's easily).
My point was greater and my opinion directed at what society has largely become: entitlement central, wherein many millennial scum in my generation (I'm 33) expect shit immediately, easily and with minimal effort, where a support system of sorts could be the scapegoat for their lack of results due to lack of effort.Fill up the syringe...
