Unsafe bb products seized!
Thousands of unsafe bodybuilding products seized in raid
By The Star/Asia News Network
May 16, 2015
A muscular body is the dream of many Malaysian men, and one in particular chose to capitalise on this dream by marketing bodybuilding products that were heavily laced with controlled substances.
Harian Metro reported that the man, in his 20s, made so much profit from selling the products that he bought a Lamborghini worth over RM2million (S$740,000).
Unfortunately for the consumers, his products were not only unregistered with the Health Ministry but also contained large doses of yohimbine, caffeine, hormones and steroids.
All of these chemicals are listed as controlled substances under the Poisons Act as they can permanently damage the body if taken in large doses.
Sources told the daily that thousands of products worth about RM1millon were confiscated by the Selangor Pharmacy Enforcement Division (CPF) during a raid on a warehouse owned by the man in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, two days ago.
"CPF officers and six policemen were prevented by workers from entering the premises, resulting in the policemen having to climb over the fence and cutting their way in.
"A check at the premises revealed a local couple and a number of foreign workers working there. Thousands of boxes containing the illegal products were found arranged at the back of the premises," the source said.
Action had previously been taken against the man for selling the products at his shops in Damansara and Bukit Tinggi, Klang, but he continued promoting them on social media.

What bugs me are the proprietary blends where you have no idea the quantity of whatever it is they're claiming is in their product.

That was the rumor...but the label just read "bull's testicles".
Ah, the 90's. A time when the Fresh Prince was king, Marky Mark had a funky bunch, and you could get fresh bull's testicles and actually sell them to tons of kids...who will eat it willingly.
*sniff* I have something in my eye.....
