Come on be a little bit realistic, if you are in prep you can't go out for lunch every other day with your friends.

First everybody will ask: Why don't you eat the fat fucking burger or this pizza covered with cheese? Why do you drink Zero and not normal Coke? Tons of annoying questions. Even if you like your friends the time will come you will quit.
If you eat out you don't know how many cals you put in your Body. And in contest prep this is pretty important. If you eat out everytime your friends eat out in Offseason, you become a fat fuck.
So everybody has to make his decision: Want i to look like shit on the stage or not?

I forgot to mention about all the roids. Do you want to kick more stuff in your bloodstream only that you can eat out with your friends?

I believe he said once a week and once I get to a certain bodyfat percentage I wouldn't mind having ONE re-feed or cheat meal every week or every other week. At the moment I'm not at that place so I can't.

Also you can always get a chicken salad, or steak, and so on. Just have to let go of the OCD side of me of not knowing how many OZ of chicken.

Don't be afraid to enjoy food...spice it up...make it taste good...enjoy these meals socially, etc. Now if you let yourself go in the off-season, well it sucks to be you come contest time.

Yup! but the leaner you get you may be able to get away with more. Some of his clients have 2-3 cheats a week and come in leaner/harder. Metabolism goes nuts when you get that lean.

The longest I ever went to without at leats 1 cheat meal during prep was 2 weeks. Staying fairly lean year-rpund has its benefits, including being able to enjoy food with your family and loved ones

You our can do that in prep too I would just advise it the last 3-4 weeks or make sure the foods you choose are very easy to track and fit in

Ya I can see that. This year I learned I can lean bulk below maintance level if I'm on test (and I mean a very good amount of weight gain too) but when I was cutting at 12-13% I needed once cheat meal a week for my body to continue losing weight. I think I'm one of those people that I can be on low carbs everyday but have 1 or 2 cheat meals a week.

P.S. when I was doing my cutting and had cheat meals I was NOT on anything. I can't wait to hit 6 or 7% this year.

I am about 8.5% right now. I do a cheat meal on sunday night and then I taper UP my carbs monday through saturday, as the effects of the Sunday cheat meal wear off

No, but I enjoy the challenge of dropping bodyfat while gaining/retaining muscle when the body does not want to. My days of competing might be over but my days of bodybuilding probably never will
